Plant Cell Dynamics 2023

Registration is now open! The registration cost is $400 up until 2 weeks before the meeting (May 8^th). Registration then will rise to $500. Registration covers event registration, the meeting T-shirt (you will be asked for your T-shirt size as part of the regiatratuiion form), the refreshments during the meeting breaks and poster sessions and the end-of-meeting party. Abstract submission is also open. We will start reviewing abstracts to put the program together April 5^th.

Meeting format

Since 2012, we have organized an annual "Plant Cell Dynamics" meeting with the objective of bringing together plant cell biologists from around the world in a highly interactive forum

Researchers from seasoned PIs to undergraduates can present their latest advances and learn new tools and approaches.

The program

Keynote talks from: Cecilia Rodriquez Furlan (School of Biological Sciences, Washington State) and Kirk Czymmek (Danforth Center),
Oral presentations from the members of the attending labs with an emphasis towards beginning faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students

Extensive poster sessions

Workshop: encounter the 3d virtual cell

Plenty of time for informal discussions

Plus, if you haven't experienced a talk that is running over time getting faded out to the tune of "Let it Go*" from Disney's Frozen, then here is your chance.

This is not your regular conference! We are looking forward and strive to highlight the work of junior faculty, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate researchers. We also celebrate that science is fun. One poster figure gets voted to be next year's conference T-shirt design. The winner for the 2023 meeting t-shirt design is Natasha Bilkey from the Dixit lab

The presentations, discussion and networking are always a favorite but so is the amazing food (and drinks) at every poster social. The end of meeting party has also proven the place where discussions during the meeting are cemented into collaborations and future postdoc and graduate opportunities
